I believe they would be a fitting addition to the packages that come preinstalled due to their rather widespread use and useful features, as well as making it easier for novice users, such as myself, to easily transition to using FloydHub.
The latest environments (
pytorch-0.4) provide both Gym and Gym-Retro. You can also find the related Template about the latter. Here are the version for these packages:
root@floydhub:/floyd/home# pip show gym

Requires: numpy, requests, six, pyglet
root@floydhub:/floyd/home# pip show gym-retro
If you need a more recent or a different version of a package, you can easily install extra-dependencies by following these steps.
Universe has been deprecated /archived, so we have decided to not provide it inside the environments. However you can install it in the same way as described above.
